 The North Georgia Network began as a grassroots effort initiated by economic development professionals in five North Georgia counties (Dawson, Forsyth, Lumpkin, Union and White) and North Georgia College & State University, with Blue Ridge Mountain EMC and Habersham EMC soon joining the team. The mission was to facilitate business and job growth and lay a foundation to support a new technology-based economy.
